Units on the syringe. Milligrams on the prescription. Make sure they agree.

Compounded GLP-1s come in multi-dose vials, and most people draw them with insulin syringes marked in units. FDA has received reports of people taking 5 to 20 times the intended amount because units and milligrams got confused. This converts one to the other using the concentration printed on your vial. It does not tell you what dose to take.

Check your vial

Common: 2.5, 5, 10 mg/mL for semaglutide; 10, 17, 20 mg/mL for tirzepatide. Yours may differ.

Confirm the concentration to see the conversion.

If the number does not match what your prescriber told you, do not inject. Call the pharmacy and read them the concentration on the vial. Never change a dose based on a calculator.

Inside GLP-1 Health Mode, this happens automatically

Enter your vial once, log doses in units, and the Program keeps the milligram record, flags a concentration change, and shows the FDA label safety card for your product type.
