Taking a peptide? Know what it's doing to your body.
Med.xyz brings your therapies, labs, body composition, nutrition, activity, sleep and symptoms together so you and your healthcare team can make better-informed decisions. We don't sell peptides. We don't tell you which one to take.
- Updated after every FDA and HHS action. Last: FDA updates its 'concerns with unapproved GLP-1 drugs' page (Sep 1, 2026).
- As of September 2026, no wellness peptide is FDA-approved and none is legally compoundable yet. The July 2026 committee votes were advisory.
- Every entry shows approval status, compounding status, evidence grade, risks, what to monitor and questions for your clinician.

What the Program adds
Prepare checklist
Things people often measure before starting a compound (CMP, CBC, lipids, A1c, hormones, blood pressure, body composition, sleep baseline), framed for a conversation with your clinician.
Therapy dashboard
Week N, dose log, product type and vendor, side effects, and your labs, weight, lean mass, strength, sleep and heart-rate variability overlaid since the start date.
Safety overlay
Liver enzymes, lipids, hematocrit on TRT, IGF-1 on secretagogues, glucose on metabolic peptides, plotted on the dose timeline with escalation to a clinician packet when a trend is worth a look.
Questions, answered
Do you sell peptides or tell me which one to take?
Neither. Med.xyz never sells a compound and never ranks compounds by predicted benefit. The Discover view is ordered by regulatory status, then alphabetically, so you always see what is approved before what is not.
What does "PCAC recommended" mean for BPC-157?
On July 23–24, 2026 the FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted to recommend adding BPC-157 and five other peptides to the list of substances 503A pharmacies may compound. The vote is advisory. Until FDA completes rulemaking, which typically takes 12–24 months, nothing has changed legally and research-use-only products remain unapproved drugs.
What is "research use only"?
A label sellers use to ship a substance that is not approved for human use. In FDA's view it is an unapproved drug. There is no required testing of identity, purity, sterility or concentration, which is why contamination and mislabeling are the main practical risks.
How are evidence grades assigned?
A means human randomized controlled trials. B means small or uncontrolled human studies. C means animal or in-vitro data only. D means none or anecdotal. Every entry cites its sources and carries a status-as-of date, and entries under review show that label instead of publishing.
What does the Program add on top of the checker?
A therapy record with product type and source, a dashboard that overlays your labs, body composition, sleep and strength on the dose timeline, monitoring suggestions per compound, and a clinician packet with the questions worth asking.
The peptide isn't the plan. What happens to your body after you start is.
